Some very interesting process maps on Flickr.

“Datalooknize is a first attempt at data visualisation of essid.

This shows a record on a train trip between london and newcastle. Filtering data from netstumbler logs, delete any recurent mac addresses, save filtered data.

Then visualise.

This is part proof of concept for another longer term project : mapping journeys.

On this example i wanted to highlight when the train was going through villages / slowing down allowing stumbler to grab more wifi node names.”
