My First Chinese Word of the Day

April 29th, 2009 · View Comments · How To

I’ve decided to make an aim and learn at least one Chinese word every day. Hopefully, this will force me to keep to a schedule – which I always like anyway – and also put some pressure on myself to keep on track. Otherwise I tend to slide.

So, to get things underway, I’m going to start today with the word Ren, which means people. I’ll upload some photos of my humble attempts to write Chinese characters every week. Most will be up on Flickr anyway.

If you have any tips (or words of encouragement!) on learning Chinese, please drop me a line.
