Dayton Business Journal report that O’Neil and Associates Inc. won a five-year $30 million U.S. Army contract. The contract, awarded by the Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command in Michigan, is a follow-up to a expiring $16.2 million contract, awarded in 2003.
O’Neil and Associates, a Miamisburg technical writing firm, creates manuals and software to help users operate complex machines and has 305 employees. The new, five-year contract will follow O’Neil’s effort to create electronic maintenance system software for the Army.
In the 2003 contract, the company created the software. Now it will be charged with implementing it, training people and developing enhancements as needed.
O’Neil opened a 5,000-square-foot office in Michigan earlier this year, with 25 employees. The company grew revenue 20 percent last year to $30 million.
