Import Criteria required for importing PDF Comments into FrameMaker 9 documents

May 28th, 2009 · View Comments · How To

If you want to import comments from a PDF file into an Adobe FrameMaker document the PDF files must meet the following requirements:

  • The PDF file was created using FrameMaker 9 or above
  • It is a tagged PDF file.
  • The PDF file must have been saved after commenting.
  • Ensure that the source FrameMaker file has not been modified after saving as a tagged PDF file.

Note: Import comments only once in the FrameMaker document. If you make multiple imports it may not work as the document changes with each import.
