The Google Gmail team has released some new emoticons to spruce up Gmail.

Actually, credit goes to the Japanese team (well done!). Some of the new emoticons include a cat, wine glass other colorfully animations.

To add these to your Gmails:

1. Go to the Labs tab under Settings
2. Enable “Extra Emoji”
