Think of Twitter with sound. Chirbits are short audio clips. Record them directly on the site with your microphone, webcam, or record the file in an external program such as Audacity if you want more creative control. Chirbits.com accept MP3 or WAV files. The next release will support other audio formats. You can create MP3s or WAVs in a number of ways.
How long can my chirbit be?
You can record as long as you like. There is no 12 second limit.
What is branching fiction?
One person starts the story with a seed sentence. The next continues it with the next sentence and so on.
What audio types can I upload?
You can upload mp3 and wav files. If you upload a wav file it is converted to mp3.
