Hide the Page Number on the First Page

If you don’t want the page number to appear on the first page of your Word document:

1. Click Insert from the menu bar and then choose Page Numbers.

2. Uncheck the Show number on first page checkbox.

This stops Page 1 being printed on the first page. The second page of your document will displays Page 2 in the footer.
