Goolge is to upgrade its AdWords interface within the next few days. After this, you’ll no longer be able to switch back to the previous AdWords interface to manage campaigns. The new interface doesn’t change how ads run, so bidding, ranking, Quality Score, and ad serving will remain the same, but the ui will be different.
Some of the new features include:
Account Tree
Sends you quickly to any campaign or ad group from any page in your account.
Performance Summary Graphs
Graphs on most tabs let you chart two metrics at once over a selected date range. You get a quick grasp of how your statistics have changed over time.
Roll-up Tabs
How to identify the most expensive keyword in your account?
1. Sort and edit keywords, ads, placements and settings across campaigns and ad groups.
2. Sort by cost and see your biggest spender pop to the top of the list.
Filters
Set filters for a high cost and low CTR to see which keywords are dragging down your performance.
Filter for keywords with a low average position and a high conversion rate.
In-line Editing
Reduce the time it takes to make changes. Instead of waiting for a new page to load, just click an item and edit it on the same page.
Spreadsheet Editing
Make bulk changes using spreadsheets directly within your account.
Copy and paste, drag and drop, or use formulas to update your campaigns systematically.
Search Query Reports
Search query reports on every Keywords tab show you the actual searches that drove traffic to your account.
Click “See search terms” to pull query reports for many keywords at once, then add those queries as new keywords or exclude them as negatives directly from the report.
Segment by Query Match Type
Segment by query match type on your Keywords tab to see how your keywords have performed for broad, phrase, and exact matches.
Networks Tab
Shows how your ads have performed on Google, search partner sites, and Google Content Network.
Automatic Placements
Drill down into the content network performance.
See how your ads perform on different content network sites, then optimize by bidding differently for specific placements or by excluding them entirely.
Conversion Metrics
This gives better insights for those cases when you value multiple conversions from the same click.
Download Tool
This tool on all tables exports the AdWords data of your choice in spreadsheet form.
Copy Tool
Helps you duplicate ads, keywords and placements in different ad groups.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Provides speedy navigation through your account.
Pending Review
Pending review, a new ad status, shows you when your ads are still waiting for approval. In-context Help Articles
In-context help articles below the account tree give you answers in the right place at the right time.
